Good and Evil

This is a new illustration of mine. There is no real reason behind it but without evil their certainly wouldn’t be any good and that is where I believe lies the balance. So I decided to make a second version of the original illustration to give the opposition equal time, I hope you all enjoy!

Both illustrations are at 1920×1200 resolution feel free to download them. :)

Google Says: “End Piracy, Not Liberty”

“Two bills before Congress, known as the Protect IP Act (PIPA) in the Senate and the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) in the House, would censor the Web and impose harmful regulations on American business. Millions of Internet users and entrepreneurs already oppose SOPA and PIPA.

The Senate will begin voting on January 24th. Please let them know how you feel. Sign this petition urging Congress to vote NO on PIPA and SOPA before it is too late.”

American Censorship Day: Nov, 16 2011

Dear Readers,
If you enjoy your freedom of speech and free use of the internet then I advise you to take a minute or so to browse the following website: www.americancensorship.org

The SOPA (Stop Online Piracy Act) as we all know, has done it’s fair share of making honest consumers jump through hoops for the behavior of others with their DRM Software that can be found in most of today’s Video Games (etc.). DRM (Digital Right Media) is a mechanism set in motion to help prevent piracy and it limits the users to a certain amount of Installs or Registrations per month for that game. If the “user” exceeds those limits, the game will become unplayable until the DRM is reset, which is only every couple of months.

Meanwhile, the pirates of the internet are downloading DRM Free versions of the game. This sure isn’t helping the consumers or protecting anyone from piracy rather then punishing those who don’t deserve it. But I digress, my point being is this isn’t the first time SOPA has tried to take a HUGE step backwards and negate everything we’ve worked for. Now as of 11/16 the SOPA want’s to pass a bill through congress that will censor what we can or cannot do on the internet, this is especially huge for those who work with copyright media, this bill can pass and if it does free speech and the internet will never be the same.

Washington’s efforts to support the digital revolution are being thwarted by the SOPA  which subsequently is the only sector in our current economy then continues to grow. If you don’t agree with CENSORSHIP please help us fight, don’t let our freedom to express ourselves be compromised.

Thanks,
Evan Boyd
